big enough for two, maybe 3 years. not as long as a regular sleep mat so it could use some improvement in that Department. Nice rolls with a carry handle that will be easy for me to pick up from school and take home to wash. lovely soft blanket also connected. I'm not washed and yet so I can't comment on the quality after it has been washed.
